Tri-National Makes an Appearance at the ALSC Global 2024 Trade Show

Just a few weeks ago, Tri-National attended the 2024 Automotive Logistics and Supply Chain Global conference located at the Henry Hotel in Dearborn, Michigan as a Gold Sponsor.

The event took place over the course of three days and covered a variety of significant topics and challenges faced in the auto and supply chain industry. Experts and professionals from all over the world traveled in to share their knowledge on subjects such as:

  • Automotive logistics
  • Manufacturing and distribution with political influence
  • Geopolitical changes
  • AI implementation
  • Global inbound freight
  • US-Mexico border imports
  • And more..

Tri-National, Inc specializes heavily on transportation regarding cross-border freight imports and operations, therefore we were eager to hear what other experts had to say about the conversation.

“Everyone was there to learn, or show what they have learned,” TNi’s Director of Corporate Business Development and Logistics.

The Direction of Automotive Logisitcs

The demand for reliable shippers, manufacturers and carriers in regards to supply chain management is stronger than ever. It was mentioned in panels as well as common conversations, and the talks of potential implementation of advanced technology is common. Transportation industries are starting to realize the potential benefits of digitalization of data and automated responses, allowing for:

  • Stronger accuracy
  • Tracking information
  • - On-demand assistance

While the incorporation of Ai is a trending topic for other industries, the automotive and transportation industry is carefully strategizing how to implement it in safe and job-honoring ways.

Aesthetics Aren’t Everything, But They Certainly Help

Hosted at the 4-star, Henry Hotel, the overall atmosphere of the conference provided a professional, yet comfortable environment to reflect and connect with others:

“I’ve been to other large conferences before, and this one felt more personable and offered great networking opportunities,” TNi’s National Sales Representative.

There was a strong emphasis put on networking throughout the conference. Beverages and appetizers were provided frequently to help bring strangers to a table and leave as acquaintances.

Wise Words

Our very own Director of North American Business Development was invited to a panel with other professional women to share her background of how she became involved in the automotive industry and share her experience on being a female in the transportation industry.

“There’s a lot of individuals in this room I admire. They’ve been in the industry and motivate me to keep pushing forward,” she commented.

The speaker panel explored topics on what can be done to empower and inspire women who are curious about entering the automotive field. Having important conversations and networking to create a support system is a strong start. TNi proudly holds the name as a 2024 Top Workplace for Women in Trucking.
